Create DTol is located in the Tools ribbon in the Tolerances Group.
Selecting this button will open a panel that enables user to create a Dimensional Tolerance on the model.
In the Dimensional Tolerances dialog there are 4 types of tolerances Feature Size, Feature Angle, Distance (Feature Pair) and Angle (Feature Pair). Once we choose type, we can select features that will be added to Assigned Features dialog.
In case we try to select feature that cannot be created for specific dimensional type a message will appear in the information panel:
Once a feature is selected on the model an input dialog will appear that makes creation of the DTol easier:
Here, once we specify tolerances, we can click the check box to apply, and a Dimensional tolerance will be created on the model. It will be added in the Bill of Characteristics and in the Model tree.
